Feed your Soul what she’s been craving - some creative time with YOU.
In this time of great change, it’s important to know you have a safe and sacred place to return to and restore your balance. Come home to yourself with some art making of your choosing in this virtual open studio.
Providing yourself with what you need on a deep level is paramount right now. An open studio atmosphere can be where you find a friendly smile and a warm space (yes this can happen virtually) to unwind and ground with some art making. And if you don’t have a lot of time, showing up for even 20 minutes has benefits.
*Create in stillness with others.
*Share how you’re doing in a supportive community (in the optional closing circle) .
*Create what you want.
*Show up when you want and as you are.
This open studio isn’t about what you are creating but rather that you are creating and connecting with yourself - creating for process not product.
What You’ll Need:
A dedicated space for creating - This could be an entire room or a dining room table.
Some basic art supplies and or a project you are currently working on. (coloring books, Zen Tangles, art journals-anything goes!)
A strong internet connection and email address.
A willingness to carve out some time just for YOU
Creating The Sacred Space:
What You Can Do: Light a candle, say a prayer, create an alter, burn some incense, set an intention for your time
In The Group: Show up quietly. Leave quietly. Create in the silence (mute yourself when needed)
The Closing Circle: Will be for sharing how we are doing in the moment and/or how creating was for us during our time together. We keep the closing circle safe by agreeing not to comment on what has been shared or giving advice, as well as agreeing to not talk politics. Our virtual studio is a politics free zone.
